Garden Update

Here are some pictures I took earlier today, at two different times of the day, as you can tell by the different lighting in some images. My succulents and my cacti are thriving in this wild Miami heat, take a look...

See and read about the beginning of my plant and succulent obsession and how my garden has evolved and transformed in these, these and these posts..

These are some beautiful Purslanes (Portulaca oleracea - an annual succulent in the family of Portulacaceae) with pink flowers that I grouped together in this planter, I especially like how the flowers of the plant match the decorative flowers on the planter :)

More Purslanes with white and yellow flowers with a ground orchid on the far left...

purty yellow Purslane...

This here is what has become of the tiny basil plant that I planted in a strawberry pot: it got so huge that I had to transplant it into a larger stand alone planter! It has a funny lean because of how it grew out the side of the strawberry pot (seen in the background). I'm glad it seems to have survived the transplant! See and read about the transformation of my herb garden in these posts.

Some yet-to-be-potted cacti and succulents [and others], as you can see they're doing just fine though... still, I can't stand those black plastic pots so I'll be putting them in planters soon!

This is the succulent I found by the side of the road, it's a Kalanchoe, read about it in this post!

My Echeveria, I call it my bloomin' onion!! Read about its transformation in this post.

Pencil Cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli) has gotten enormous since I transferred it to a large aqua planter...

Last but not least, my indoor plants...
