A few weeks ago, as I was leaving a Ross store, I noticed the strip mall had a Pier 1 Imports and decided to check out what they had for kicks. Unfortunately, I have accustomed myself to the bargain treasure trove prices at Marshalls, TJMaxx, Ross, thrift stores, antique stores, Goodwill's and garage sales, so to me Pier 1 Imports is nothing more than an overpriced warehouse full of inspiration. I can honestly say that in the last five years I have only been to a Pier 1 Imports store twice, at the very most, and have never bought anything. But, that doesn't mean I didn't like the things that they had! Anyway, I did a quick walk-through to check out what the Pier had imported and get some ideas - I also snapped photos of things that caught my eye..... (mostly pillows!) hehe....
By the way, if you like anything you see it can be viewed and purchased online at Pier 1 Imports.
Adorable little stool upholstered in Indian embroidered fabric, cute but pricey... Inspiration for a Goodwill stool makeover!

This pillow below really reminds me of Wycinanki, a Polish folk art where paper is cut into many beautiful and vibrant colored designs....

More pretty patterned, embroidered and shamefully overpriced pillows....

This one reminds me of Suzani embroidery!....
Last but not least, a pretty tiled patio table.... this makes me want to finally use all of the sample designer tiles I've collected throughout my years working in the design industry! Another project for the endless list...! :)
