Once can't help but notice the abundance of blooming Royal Poinciana (aka: Delonix regia or Flamboyant - no, really!) trees all over Miami! But, as I mentioned to my boyfriend the other day, you usually only really notice or look at these trees when they are in a roaring fiery bloom - like now! After all, who can ignore the magnificent electric orange flowers that make for an amazing contrast against the blue sky... they are breathtaking! Here are a few that I've photographed while out and about....
