Tree for You by AnneSo

Check out this cuteness.... These are "pet tree plant necklaces" by Tree for You on Etsy! Each one contains a different teeny tiny cactus or succulent and is decorated with a charm. They look like little terrariums on a necklace, very sweet! The artist and creator of these little delights is AnneSo from Belgium and she donates a dollar from every sale to the charity Arbor Day, which aides with reforestation and rain forest rescue. The Domsai by Matteo Cibic

These are oh so so cool, but they are so darn expensive that for me they're really only good for inspiration - and hey, this is the place for inspiration so check it out... These weird little space-like terrariums are called Domsai's and they are by the product designer Matteo Cibic. Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of a biography or any abundance of information on his website so that's pretty much all I have to say. Oh, and one more thing... one day (whenever I get around to it) I want to try making my own Domsai with a clear light bulb and some type of wacky planter base!! Yeah!

They are all really cute, but I have a favorite... this guy below.... :)

Succulent and Cacti Madness! Here are my first creations....

So if you don't already know... I'm pretty into Cacti and Succulents, they are so beautiful and interesting! Anyway, I've decided to jump onto what appears to be some sort of bandwagon in the design/decor blog world and try my hand at making some cute funky little planters with these little wonders of nature! Once I perfect these babies, make some more and verify that they do well over time I will add them to my new Inspire Bohemia store on Etsy.com along with many other pieces of my art and antique/vintage goodies that I have to sell off!! I'm very excited about this new store... it will be a little while before it is ready since I want to be prepared and do it all right the first time around.

These little beauties are pretty easy to make, so long as you have all the necessary supplies. I will be doing another post before the end of the week with more images and a little how-to guide for making these planters. So, stay tuned and let me know what you think of these in the meantime.....
