Today is Friday, yipeeee! This weekend I'm going to paint my mother's dining room and cover up that hideous red wall (seen in this post) that we've been living with for too many years. Like I mentioned before, I don't know what we were thinking when my aunt gave us that funky patterned roller and we actually used it...ugh. Anyway, we will be covering up the hideousness with some classic neutral beige paint, a favorite that I've used for years called Gobi Desert by Behr. I can't wait to get it done so I can photograph the dining room in all its Thanksgiving decor glory!
I don't know about you, but I love candles... Especially since I can pick up yummy vanilla scented pillar candles at Dollar Tree for just a buck each, not to mention a bag of tea lights too! Also, there's something great about sweet and spicy scents lingering through ones home during the holidays! Light a few pumpkin spice and vanilla candles and fill a small saucepan with water, cinnamon sticks and cloves and simmer it on the stove for hours to fill your home with an amazing aroma! As I kept seeing all these gorgeous creative ideas for enhancing candles with a Fall flair, I knew I had to share them with you. How do you like that? ...A whole post on decorating and showcasing candles for the holidays! By now you should know that I love to do these types of specific themed decor posts! Enjoy, and please share any ideas you may have with us! What are your plans for this weekend?
