A Table for Two: Guest Post from Design Shuffle

Good Morning!

Today I have a great guest post for you from Susi at Design Shuffle, which is basically like Facebook for the design world - a place for interior designers, architects and other design professionals to showcase images of their work on the internet.  In other words, it's a treasure trove of inspiration and I was ecstatic and honored when Design Shuffle expressed an interest in doing a guest post on Inspire Bohemia!  Without further ado, I hope you enjoy "A Table for Two."

Hi, I’m Susi, a writer for Design Shuffle, a fabulous design community that promotes interior designers and their work from around the world.  I get to virtually travel the world and visit design blogs like Inspire Bohemia.  Today I'm here guest blogging about tables for two.  These small tables are perfect to tuck into small kitchen or be used as a dining table in a studio apartment.  Small but stylish, here are some of my favorite tables for two in interior designs.  Hope you enjoy! Thanks for letting me & Design Shuffle come to visit!

Library Dining Design

A table for two and a library of books makes for a cozy dining area.  In a small or studio apartment, sometimes you need to combine functions in one space. That doesn't mean the space has to be less charming.

Antique Dining Design

Antique tables are often smaller in dimension and are a tight fit for four people. They make perfect tables for two people to share a meal or a cup of coffee. Love the modern chairs paired with the antique table.

Rustic Dining Design

An industrial rusty iron table intended for outdoor use makes a charming kitchen table in a rustic or bohemian or even contemporary style space.

Nook Kitchen Design

A table for two is perfect for a small nook in kitchen designs. The black chalkboard anchors this small space and creates a nice backdrop for the table and bentwood chairs.

Table Kitchen Design

Small tables in the kitchen are often used for things other than meals. This charming table even has a little storage underneath for books—a smart design.

Glass Table Design

For a small table for two, think about a glass top table with an open base to take up less visual space in a small space. Love the gold finish on this one that adds a bit of vintage glamour to the kitchen.

Vintage Table Design

A small vintage table like this Lucite and glass one can make a great table for two in a small breakfast room.  Love the deep pink fabric on the chairs and the tiny blue pendant light. Charming decorating ideas abound in this cheerful space. How cool is that huge white pear?

Drop-Leaf Table Design

This table for two is a small drop-leaf table that could expand to seat four if needed.  Its small footprint is perfect for two to share a meal. [ Images 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 ]
