John Lennon: Gone But Not Forgotten

 Hello everyone...
In case you didn't know, today marks the 30th year since John Lennon's death.... since he was tragically and needlessly taken from us that is.  I'd like to take a moment to remember him for his incredible talent and for the tremendous love and compassion he had for humanity.  I can only imagine (no pun intended) that the world would be a better place with him in it, luckily we still have his music to remember him and his powerful messages by.  I love that Lennon and The Beatles sang about such timeless issues, it enables generations like mine to connect with the lyrics and the message regardless of how long the songs have been around.  Apart from The Beatles, John Lennon was an incredible artist, musician and father, may he always be remembered.

John, your spirit lives on forever!

Words to live by....

Imagine
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions

I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
